Warning - Mosaic work is addictive!
I have been fascinated by the relationship between each broken fragment for many years. Creating completely different moods with the materials you choose and the way in which you cut the pieces gives a never ending array of possibilities. From the fun - bright shiny large shards of broken china to intricate pieces of coloured venetian glass placed in flowing lines with a subtle mix of colours or some old nails and screws married with porcelain cut into flowing lines giving contrast in textures. Finding a place for pieces of china or stone that have memories is a good starting point for a mosaic.
You do not need to be an artist or able to draw. I work with all ages and abilities and the only skill you need is enjoyment of shape and colour.
